Applications for KPMG Smart Start close on 23 Oct
If your FinTech or InsurTech start-up business has an innovative idea or market-ready solution that could change the face of financial services, apply for the KPMG Smart Start Award 2018.
The KPMG Smart Start Award 2018 – FinTech and InsurTech is an initiative of KPMG Germany, in collaboration with the NORD/LB, the VHV Group and Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures. The challenge aims to identify and empower emerging start-ups from around the world.
Finalists get the opportunity to pitch your innovative business ideas at the event in Hanover, Germany on 15 November. The top-class judging panel, comprise of representatives from banks, venture capital funds, insurers and corporates, founders and association representatives. Plus, finalists enjoy the chance to network with and learn from a global community of likeminded people, as well as get international media coverage.
Prizes are awarded for the best pitches and business ideas and are aimed at giving start-ups the boost they need to scale. For example, there is a prize of €10,000 in KPMG consulting services up for grabs.
