KPMG launches Mobility 2030 Innovation Challenge
Great opportunity for emerging tech companies that are actively changing the future of mobility ecosystem

KPMG’s Mobility2030 proposition believes the way people and goods move in the future will change due to the confluence of Electric, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, and Mobility-as-a-Service. We are looking to find companies and propositions from around the world that are innovating either through technology, creative business models or clever commercial models.
Therefore, powered by Matchi; KPMG has launched the Mobility 2030 Innovation Challenge that aims to identify and empower emerging tech companies that are actively changing the future of mobility ecosystem.
KPMG Global Top 100 Mobility ‘To Watch’ List
All entries will be validated and then showcased in a central KPMG Mobility database to be shared with forward-thinking clients and partners worldwide. As independent advisors within the Mobility ecosystem, we have found that our clients are always looking for innovation, capabilities and ‘hidden gems’ and your profile could be what they are looking for.
We welcome applications from all emerging technology firms that have developed and built a solution for any of the following five challenge categories:
Challenge Category 1: Future of the Vehicle
Solutions that revolutionise vehicle design and manufacturing
Examples include: alternative drivetrains, battery cell technology, autonomous vehicle software, vehicle sensors and hardware
Challenge Category 2: Future of Transport Services
Solutions that create efficient and innovative ways to move people and goods from point A to B
Examples include: multi-modal public transport services, Mobility-as-a-Service offerings, vehicle subscription services, telematics and fleet tracking technology, fleet management solutions
Challenge Category 3: The New Mobility Customer Experience
Solutions that deliver convenience and/or new channels and/or new services to enhance customer journeys
Examples include: new channels for vehicle purchase and vehicle finance, route mapping services, retail and entertainment services, payments and micropayments, road-side services
Challenge Category 4: Developing Mobility Infrastructure
Solutions that underpin the delivery of current and future mobility services
Examples include: electric vehicle charging networks, vehicle-to-grid services, vehicle-to-infrastructure solutions, smart city infrastructure, cyber security solutions, infrastructure finance and management
Challenge Category 5: Creating a Sustainable Mobility Ecosystem
Solutions that extend the usability and/or life cycle of a vehicle, vehicle component, or an element mobility infrastructure
Examples include: battery cell repurposing and recycling technology, raw material extraction technology, vehicle recycling and resale solutions, transport energy and waste management solutions
