Pitch Your Solution to 40 Chief Risk Officers from Leading Australian Banks

The Risk Management Association of Australia (RMA) has partnered with KPMG and Matchi to offer three fintech companies the opportunity to pitch their solutions to 40 Chief Risk Officers from Australia’s leading banks. This exclusive showcase opportunity will take place at the prestigious CRO Roundtable event in Sydney, Australia on 12 September 2017.
KPMG is arranging this year’s CRO Round table event for the RMA Australia members with the theme “Generation Next”. To add to the day’s stimulating presentations and discussions, KPMG and RMA are looking for 3 of the world’s best fintech solutions to showcase as an event highlight. Each of the selected companies will receive a contribution of USD 1500 towards their travel expenses.
Fintech startups and companies around the world are invited to express interest in this opportunity by completing the online application at https://matchi.biz/RMAShowcase before the closing date of 6 August 2017. There is no fee to participate and the opportunity is open to any firm that has developed and built a solution that aligns to one of the four categories:
Category 1: Regulatory Compliance
Sample business concerns which solution may seek to target could include: Horizon Scanning, Compliance Automated Testing or E2E Regulatory Automated Ecosystem
Category 2: Regulatory Reporting
Sample business concerns which solution may seek to target could include: IFRS 9 / Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) standard, Stress Testing Reports (CCAR/ DFAST), Liquidity reporting or Risk Data Aggregation (BCBS 239)
Category 3: KYC / Client On-boarding
Sample business concerns which solution may seek to target could include: AML and account opening, Know Your Customer (KYC), Common Reporting Standards (CRS) or Customer service advantage
Category 4: Conduct Risk
Solutions could address conduct risk to prevent unethical behaviour from an organisation’s management and employees particularly in the areas of product development, inappropriate incentives, product mis-selling and culture assessment
All showcase entries received by 6 August 2017 will be validated by Matchi analysts and the winners will be selected by a panel of CROs from various Australian Banks and KPMG based on the following criteria:
- Solution Applicability in the category
- Alignment with Australian Regulatory Requirements (relevance in the Australian market)
- Solution Impact (based on Track record of implementations in other banks and success achieved)
- Innovativeness of solution
The three winning fintech companies will be announced on 14 August 2017.
