Top 6 Entries to present to Sony!
On 22 January, Matchi launched an exclusive Innovation Challenge with Sony. The challenge called out to the FinTech community to showcase their innovative products and solutions in selected areas to compete for a PoC project (Proof-of-Concept project) within Sony Financial Services.
The challenge attracted global interest and was featured across publications such as Finextra, Payment Week, FS Tech, Disrupt Africa and The Merkle. On closing, Matchi had received over 50 entries from leading FinTech firms located across 28 different countries that were validated by our analysts before being individually scored by a panel from Sony, KPMG and Matchi on Novelty, Ease of Implementation, Potential Impact and Overall Impression.
The highest scorer in each of the 6 categories will now be invited to present their innovation directly to the judging panel who will decide which solution/s will proceed to the PoC project phase.

The final presentations will take place over the 16th to the 17th of March 2016 and the winner/s will be announced on Friday the 18th of March 2016.
