African Fintech Innovation Challenge 2015
In the lead up to the annual Standard Bank Innovation Week which showcases the numerous organisations and initiatives that support the Standard Bank Innovation ecosystem, Matchi is running an exciting challenge to select 20 of Africa's hottest fintech innovations. The Top 20 innovations will be exhibited at the exclusive Matchi Fintech Innovation Africa Showcase on Thursday 19 November 2015 (Day 2 of Standard Bank's Innovation Week) where they will be presented to key decision makers from Standard Bank and their invited VIP guests, partners, investors and media.
The challenge opens on Wednesday 28 October 2015 and closes at midnight on Tuesday 10 November 2015. All entries will be scored by Matchi and Standard Bank to select the 20 highest ranking innovations, who will be announced on Thursday 12 November 2015.
To qualify for this challenge your organization needs to be based in an African country and the fintech innovation must align to one of the challenge themes of Mobility, Insurance, Financial Inclusion and New To World. Since the prize is that your innovation will be showcased at the event in Johannesburg on 19 November 2015, you will also need to ensure that you or someone else from your company will able to represent you here on this date.
