Barclays Africa Business Banking Challenge - Finalists

The Barclays Africa Business Banking Challenge invited fintech innovators from anywhere in the world to respond to specific focus areas defined by the bank.

The challenge was hosted by Matchi and received over 50 high-quality responses which were validated and individually scored by a panel of representatives from Barclays Africa Business Banking, Matchi and KPMG.

Following the initial scoring, a facilitated judging process took place at the Barclays Africa Head Office on Tuesday 14 April.  During this time, the ranked list of submitted entries was reviewed and discussed by the panel in order to determine the top response for each category.

Congratulations to the finalists who will now present their selected innovations directly to the Barclays Africa Business Banking Exco on 18 May 2015. All finalists will be considered for a paid-for proof of concept at the bank within the calendar year.
