BankTech Asia Fin5ive winners demo live in Kuala Lumpur
5 Matchi Fintech Solution Providers shone under the spotlight at BankTech Asia 2016
In recognising the rising importance for banks to partner with fintech firms, BankTech Asia collaborated with Matchi to source 5 of the best fintech firms and match them to an audience of 200+ bankers at the 8th Annual BankTech Asia event in Kuala Lumpur.
Key focus areas from banks across the Asia Pacific region were collated into Fintech themes which formed the five (5) entry categories for the challenge. All entries were scored on set criteria of Novelty/ Innovativeness, Ease of Implementation, Potential Impact (revenue, cost or efficiency) and Overall Impression. To select the final winners Matchi facilitated a second judging process which allowed for guest judges from the region to discuss and review the ranked list of combined scores.
The BankTech Asia Fin5ive Challenge winners were invited to exhibit at BankTech Asia 2016 in Kuala Lumpur from 8-9 November. Each of the firms was given the opportunity to demo live on stage garnering much interest and intense discussion about opportunities to collaborate with banks in the region.
