BankTech Asia Fin5ive Challenge Winners Announcement
Fin5ive will give lightning demos at BankTech Asia in Kuala Lumpur on 8 November 2016
The BankTech Asia Fin5ive Challenge was launched with the intention to source five groundbreaking FinTech solutions to showcase at the annual BankTech Asia exhibition and conference in Kuala Lumpur from 8-9 November 2016.
Key focus areas across from financial institutions across Asia Pacific were collated into five fintech themes which formed the entry categories for the challenge. All entries were individually scored against set criteria, including: Novelty/ Innovativeness, Ease of Implementation, Potential Impact (revenue, cost or efficiency) and Overall Impression.

In addition to a 10-minute lightning demo in front of 200+ participants, the BankTech Asia Fin5ive winners will each be showcased in a special startup pavilion during both days of the event. This is the 8th annual event arranged by BankTech Asia to promote fintech innovation within Asian Pacific banks.
With confirmed conference participants including Maybank (Malaysia), Siam Commercial Bank (Thailand), Baiduri Bank (Brunei), Vietcombank (Vietnam), Janata Bank Ltd (Bangladesh) and Bank of Ceylon (Sri Lanka), BankTech Asia 2016 is set to be a premium regional event to showcase and discuss the very best in fintech.
