Canadian Institute Fintech Challenge - Winners Announcement
Top 6 to demo at Fintech Forum in Toronto on 18 October 2016

The Canadian Institute Fintech Challenge in collaboration with Matchi and KPMG was launched with the intention to match six of the world’s hottest fintech solutions with the top fintech priorities of some of Canada’s leading Financial Institutions (FIs).
Key focus areas across the FIs were collated into five fintech themes which formed the entry categories for the Canadian Institute Fintech Challenge – to which Matchi received a total of 56 qualifying responses. All entries were individually scored against set criteria, including: Novelty/ Innovativeness, Ease of Implementation, Potential Impact (revenue, cost or efficiency) and Overall Impression.
The six winning solutions will demo live on stage at the Fintech Forum in Toronto on 18 October 2016. During the event’s proceedings, the six winners will also meet face to face with key decision makers from the participating FIs which include: Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, CIBC Mellon, Bank of Nova Scotia, TD Bank Financial Group, Alberta Treasury Branches, Sun Life Financial, Aviva Canada and KPMG Canada.
