Logical Glue Wins SME FinTech Challenge 2016

Matchi member firm is delighted to commence Proof-of-Concept project within MCB

London-based firm Logical Glue has won the SME FinTech Challenge 2016 and will commence with a Proof-of-Concept project within The Mauritius Commercial Bank Limited (MCB)

The challenge was hosted and managed exclusively by Matchi, inviting firms across the world to respond with relevant, market-ready innovations aligned to any of MCB’s SME-related focus areas.

Digital transformation is a priority for MCB and we are continuously looking for innovative solutions to meet and exceed our customers’ needs. The SME Challenge that we ran with Matchi allowed us to tap into a pool of innovative solutions and reach a wide spectrum of fintech companies in a short time. Matchi analysts validated 50+ responses from firms located across 21 countries. Each response was individually scored by a panel from Matchi, KPMG and MCB to provide a ranked list of the highest scoring responses.

A second judging process confirmed a shortlist of 9 firms who were invited to present their solutions directly to the team at MCB, who in turn selected Logical Glue as the outright winner. Logical Glue, a London-based firm enables organizations to create and deploy the best predictive models to drive better business performance.

It was great that MCB reached out to the FinTech community for innovative solutions through the SME Fintech Challenge in partnership with Matchi.
