KPMG hosts the 2nd Annual Matchi Innovation Summit in London
FIs from around the world gathered in London to connect, share, learn and collaborate.
Hosted by KPMG at their head offices in London, the 2nd Annual Innovation Summit took place from 10-11 February 2016.
Arranged by Matchi and KPMG to bring non-competing FIs together to promote collaboration and innovation between financial institutions and fintech firms, the summit attracted leading Financial Institutions from all corners of the globe.

Key outcomes of the summit included:
- A trusted network of non-competitive peers from all around the world
- Insights into how other organisations promote innovation
- Knowledge of successful implementations in other regions and learnings of what has worked and what did not when bringing new innovations to market
- Having seen a select pool of fintech firms with demonstrated capabilities, aligned to fintech themes identified as most relevant by the participating FIs
This, the second Innovation Summit, once again delivered on its goals - to get a small group of like-minded, innovative financial institutions together to share approaches, success stories and learning. It was fantastic to see how challenges of managing innovation within large organisations are similar, and the smart ways in which different innovation leaders from around the world have worked to solve these problems and bring new ideas to the discipline of the market.David Milligan, CEO Matchi
Among the highlights of the Summit were opportunities for the FIs to meet and connect with selected fintech firms from the KPMG 'Fintech 100' list and recent winners of the KPMG Fintech Innovation Challenge.
