Matchi announces exclusive sponsorship deal with CaixaBank at FinovateEurope 2014

Matchi, a global innovation platform for banks and innovators announced last week at FinovateEurope, it has signed a three year sponsorship agreement with CaixaBank. According to the terms of the deal, CaixaBank will be the only financial institution to be granted sponsorship rights in Spain.
Matchi demoed its latest global innovation matchmaking platform in London at FinovateEurope on Tuesday which generated a lot of interest from both innovators and bankers attending the event. The platform enables innovators to showcase market ready innovations, and for banks to purchase these banking innovations from anywhere in the world.
Matchi only allows one banking sponsor per region, and the benefits to becoming a sponsor include valuable collaboration opportuntities with some of the most innovative banks in the world and potentially significant cost savings in development costs. In addition, sponsor banks also gain first rights access to the innovations posted onto the platform, before the rest of the Matchi community can view them, which gives sponsor banks a first mover advantage in their respective regions.
