Matchi launches Innovation Matchmaking Platform
Matchi launched its global innovation matchmaking platform last week at FinovateAsia in Singapore. The platform enables innovators to showcase their latest innovations and banks to purchase these banking innovations from anywhere in the world.
“We’re thrilled to have launched Matchi on stage at FinovateAsia and the response and interest we have received has been overwhelming from not only banks but also innovators”, stated Warren Bond, CEO of Matchi. “We saw a need for the development of an innovation platform that could easily connect bankers and innovators from across the globe that facilitates collaboration and cost savings for banks.”
The Matchi demonstration at FinovateAsia highlighted the journey an innovator would take to post an innovation and also how a banker would search for a relevant innovation suitable for the bank. The types of innovation posted onto the platform must be market ready for implementation.
“We feel that an idea is not an innovation until it has been built, we only want innovations that are ready for a bank to implement. It is often more cost effective and facilitates speed to market for the bank if the innovation has been built and is ready to be purchased,” concludes Warren Bond.
